Sian Lewis. I’m a mother and nearly-wife from West Sussex. I’m middle-aged and middle-sized. I’m also a journalist and interiors stylist.
Since 1997, I’ve worked for my dream list of newspapers and magazines in the UK, New York, Sydney and Auckland. As for the ones that have eluded me thus far…well, I still have them in my sights.
I’ve always loved telling stories (thanks for listening, Mum and Dad). And, as a writer, I’ve been lucky enough to have that passion whittled and polished by wonderful editors.
I still write and style photo shoots for corporate clients and magazines. You’ll find my work in The English Home, New Zealand House & Garden, Homes & Gardens, Period Living and 25 Beautiful Homes.
But, I no longer commute up to London every day (the rabbits often hop faster than that train).
Now, you’ll find me in my office, under a large – and I like to think, very wise – old, oak tree at the bottom of my garden.
Here, I have space to think, to create… and to dream.
This website started as one of those dreams.
Thank you for exploring it with me…
