Christmas Gift Guide – Day 10

Slant sphere bowls, from Solavia.

Simple. Stylish. Practical. Will suit any decor – whether modern chic or timeless traditional.

Really, really good value.

It’s no wonder I am nuts (sorry!) about these slanted sphere bowls from Solavia.

Currently reduced from £25.50 to £12.30 each, each handmade bowl is 16cm tall and 15.5cm across the top  – the perfect size for a generous serving of Christmas snacks.

Of course these Solavia bowls are also multi-taskers. Fill them with baubles or satsumas and group together for a table centrepiece. Use them in the bathroom to store beauty supplies.

Or fill them with sweets – as we did on a recent corporate styling job. Perhaps not surprisingly all the sweets made their way back to people’s desks after the party.

When the festivities are over, they would also look good planted up with succulents – or filled with simple stems.

Honestly the possibilities are endless.

I am quite literally bowled over (once, again – sorry!)…

Since discovering this Warwickshire-based company, Solavia has become my go-to source for glassware when I am styling events.

Their range of hand-crafted designs, made by European glass makers, includes bon bon jars, fish bowl vases and stemmed candle holders.

And Solavia’s prices? Well, let’s just say that even when their products aren’t on sale – they are still great value.

What are you waiting for?
